Libra awarded Basic & Detailed Engineering order of a Wet Air Oxidation(WAO) Pilot Plant

The scope of work includes evaluation of alternative reactor designs & catalysts, followed by Basic Design of the process units for the WAO process, and subsequent detailed engineering of the same, for a pilot plant which will be Skid Mounted. The process is a novel patented process, which allows for the recycle & reuse of the chemicals used during the primary effluent treatment process. This plant is proposed to be set up in the UK.

Libra completes order for Advanced Petrochemical Corporation (APC) in record time

APC is a Jubail based company, which is one of the largest producers of Polypropylene in the world. They had recently asked LTL to design and supply a critical U-Tube Heat Exchanger. As the equipment was required in time for plant shutdown, APC was focused on delivery. LTL took up the challenge and has executed the order 2 weeks before the deadline.

Metaprocess, a Moscow based technology company has signed a long term agreement on cooperation, which includes the provision of engineering, marketing and other services while promoting basic and innovative technologies to each other. Both companies will get access to geographies which are normally not within their scope of operations. While Metaprocess will be providing technology for Methanol and other chemicals, LTL will similarly offer technology for various methanol based downstream chemicals like Formaldehyde, Para formaldehyde, Hexamine etc.

Libra Commissions Acetaldehyde Plant in Saudi Arabia

Libra Techcon Ltd. has successfully commissioned the 12,000 TPA acetaldehyde plant of Methanol Chemical Company Limited (Chemanol) (formerly Saudi Formaldehyde Chemical Company Limited) at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The plant, commissioned on 12th May, 09, is supplied by Libra on quasi turn key basis. The plant is another milestone in the 16 years of relationship between Libra and Chemanol. Chemanol's 20,000 TPA Pentaerythritol Plant, also supplied by Libra, is slated to be commissioned in the next month. Libra is a prominent global player in supply of methanol and alcohol based technologies and turnkey solutions for medium and small chemical process plants.
